MidDel was founded in 2005 by Scott Levin and his wife, Joan. After working as a consultant to major companies in the energy production and oil and gas industries, Scott recognized that consulting clients seemed to have two less-than-ideal choices for their needs – either the thousands of “body shop” staff augmentation firms with little or no functional energy knowledge, or large corporations with exorbitant price tags. He saw that these choices resulted in incomplete work for the client and enormous bills, usually accompanied by many diagrams.
Scott built a talented team of individuals with deep energy industry experience in oil, power, gas, and renewables that has allowed MidDel to continue to grow and serve after his passing in 2022.
By maintaining its focus on client needs and anticipating changes in the industries served; MidDel has continued to grow and adapted as the energy and related industry space has evolved and expanded to include renewables.
Today, MidDel is a woman owned business led by an experienced executive team. Clients benefit by having access to top consulting talent without paying for the corporate overhead of the large “legacy” firms. Today, MidDel now has clients nationwide and is seen as a North American leader in Energy Industry consulting.
