DOE Announces Investment to Strengthen and Secure the Nation’s Critical Energy Infrastructure

Following the attack on communication software affecting multiple U.S. pipeline companies and recent warnings of Russian attacks on the electric grid, the U.S. Department of Energy announced it is offering a grant of $25 million for projects to combat future hacks.
