During the recent system merger activities, which resulted in the largest Power Generator in the United States, the MidDel team was selected as lead Subject Matter Experts for the integration of the combined company’s separate ETRM systems. Numerous challenges had to be identified, solved, and implemented including multiple databases and reporting engines requiring to be re-engineered in order to retain current historical data compliant with the ruling and combined company’s reporting needs moving forward.
The MidDel team was given two months to accomplish the deliverables for the integration, which is unprecedented for a major merger of two S&P 500 companies. The integration project was a spectacular success and delivered on time despite losing a week to Hurricane Sandy. The client was so elated with the performance that MidDel was extended for another year to assist in Phase 2 project activities. Go, Team MidDel!
